HISTORY

In 2006, we were inspired to make our very own Doctor Who film after watching the 2006 Series of the real Who. It then became a regular thing, filming Dr Who films with various people and the series continued into 2009. However, after the great PC explosion of 2011, many of the episodes are now lost, never to be seen again. We then proceeded to make our very own original series, titled "The Pete & Jake Adventures" in 2009, and three series were broadcast up until 2011, when it was decided to leave PJA for good and work on something else. In 2010, between production of PJA Series II, a short Sherlock Holmes film, entitled "The Science of Deduction" was made. It was meant to be the first in a series but the project was a failure as the filming was an unpleasant experience for the cast and the editing took a very long time - the project was started in September 2010, but not finished until December that very year (editing wise). Due to two unsuccessful series, FBC Productions continued its film-making success by making Doctor Who animations, and uploading these and various other projects onto YouTube. The series was, and still is, a success but we decided to go back to live-action films. A new series of Doctor Who was planned, with 13 episodes due to start in the April of 2012. However, the series was brought down due to filming complications, and the series was delayed until further notice. Thankfully, from April 2012, Executive producers Pete Messum and Joe Sheehan started work on a new, improved four-part mini series due to air in June. Then the date was set for September 1st, and the series, although taking five months to film, was launched that night, starting with FBC's most popular production - "A New Beginning". The episode was the first of four twenty-five minute episodes (although episode three was only 17 minutes) and production on a third series began. The series aired from October 2012 through to November 2012. As of late 2012, a new series called Torchwood: Dead Earth was announced and will be shown from early 2014. A Sherlock Holmes series is in the works, as well as a James Bond short film, more comedy sketches, a 'lost' episode of The Pete & Jake Adventures and Extraction, showing in 2014. Doctor Who Series 4 began on the 30th March 2013 and is split into two halves. Part One finished on the 18th May with 'The Ballad of James Mason' and the series will continue with Part Two's opening episode - 'Air Borne', coming later this year. Pete Messum and Joe Sheehan are to continue to make sketches for YouTube and hope to one day get into the film and television industry properly.
